Our Story

Neurodivergent Ohio was founded to meet the growing need of ADHD and adult Autism assessments and support throughout Ohio. Our mission is to provide affordable, high quality assessments and resources while celebrating the strengths, unique perspectives and spectrum of superpowers experienced by neurodivergent individuals.

At Neurodivergent Ohio we value individuality and strive to adapt to the diverse needs of you and your family. We view neurodivergence not as a limitation but as a supercontinuum of strengths. We welcome you and your voice to the community that is Neurodivergent Ohio.

Heather Sites, MSEd, LPCC-S, ADHD-CCSP

Welcome, I’m glad you’re here! I am an LPCC-S, ADHD CCSP and I have worked in the counseling field since 2019 with clients aged 6-60, taking a special interest in ADHD assessments in 2020. I’m excited to start our newest service offering adult Autism assessments. As someone on the neurodivergent spectrum, my passion lies in helping others understand what being on that spectrum means for them by utilizing different interventions for managing symptoms and normalizing the differences in our brains. I look forward to working with you on your journey!
Outside of the office, I enjoy quiet time hiking to decompress, and gardening. I also enjoy traveling, exploring new places with friends and family, and snuggling with my needy fur babies. Take a walk with me and let’s discover how your brain works.

Allie Dennis

Hi there! I’m a Social Work Trainee (SWT) with experience personally and professionally with sensory processing disorders and neurodivergence. I have narrative and cognitive behavioral therapy skills that used over my 5 years in social services, assisting individuals with their goals and immediate needs.  I like to go on hiking adventures in my free time and find time in nature to be soothing and centering. I enjoy art and creative expression as a way to engage with people online.

I enjoy facilitating and moderating group awareness and noticing strengths around each person’s perspective. To keep the conversations moving, you’ll find me with a good cat meme or fun activity with a story attached. Working with a narrative platform can be a way to connect with others.  Storytelling is best when it creates another positive or healing story in someone else. This process can create a vision of what a community should look like and feel like to those who feel disconnected. Thank you for being here and being you!
